Helping Others Triumph foundation also known as the “H.O.T foundation" was created by 2-Time Jamaican Olympian, Recording Artist and Entrepreneur, Shevon Nieto, formerly known as Shevon Stoddart. This foundation is associated with the company Hotletics, whose slogan is “Helping Others Triumph” through fashion, fitness, and music. A percentage of all proceeds will go towards the H.O.T foundation, which is created to support and bring awareness to people with physical disabilities, while helping others overcome the obstacles that may be disabling them mentally.
Shevon believes in the power of the mind and has built this platform to motive, direct and uplift individuals around the world. Shevon will share various tools and practices, which can help you to hurdle all obstacles in life.
Shevon launched the Helping Others Triumph Foundation in 2017 after her boyfriend, now husband Jamie Nieto who is also a 2-Time Olympic Athlete, suffered a C-3, C-4 spinal injury, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down. However, Shevon and Jamie looked at this situation the same way they looked at their Olympic goals and believed that they could overcome this obstacle and recover 100%. This was definitely the biggest challenge that Shevon and Jamie had to overcome. July 22nd 2017, Jamie Nieto walked Shevon down the aisle despite what the doctors had told him. Today Jamie is walking with forearm crutches and is on his way to 100% recovery.
During this time Shevon has gained a stronger understanding of the mind and body and has proven to be a strong and impactful woman. She has a true love for helping others and has committed her life to helping others by creating the H.O.T foundation and Hotletics company that will help others triumph around the world through the motivation of fashion, fitness, and music, while connecting with positive individuals to create a movement of positivity and encouragement.
The H.O.T foundation provides different programs and events to help others triumph of all ages and backgrounds. The foundation also works together with Arc, also known as Abilities Recovery Center that specializes in spinal injuries, brain and stroke recovery, Olympians, Puma and various companies that has joined together to help others Triumph.
